Volunteers are essential and important to our work. Volunteering is a flexible way to get involved.
Our staff and volunteers have many years of experience working in the sector and they are always happy to share and increase their skills and knowledge.
We host a number of Student Placements from social work, health services, community services and other backgrounds. We are enthusiastic about helping train and support the professionals of the future.

Self Help and Support groups are always part of any society, and it seems that every so often we rediscover their usefulness. Changes in society and technology open up new opportunities and challenges for research. We welcome collaboration with university students to undertake research projects with our organisation.
There is a vast range of potential research opportunities, relating to the evidence base for peer support including strength and recovery, community orientation, and the increasing use of technology, such as online or remote support.
