Group Description
SANDS provides support to people who are grieving for the loss of a child pre-birth or post-birth. Many parents find comfort from talking to other parents who experience the same or similar loss. SANDS coordinates support meetings at multiple locations across Queensland. Even if you are in a location where there is no meeting nearby feel free to ring to talk to someone who understands your loss.
Who can Join
Anyone who is grieving for the loss of a baby pre-birth or post-birth regardless of whether they were the parent or family. Volunteers are also welcome.

A safe space for bereaved parents to talk with those who are going through similar life challenges. It is through the lived experience of our volunteer parent supporters that we are able to provide real hope, understanding & empathy.
