Group Description
We encourage, enable and empower all community members and organisations to join us in making the City of Logan an inclusive dementia-friendly community by raising awareness of dementia through information, community conversations, dementia choir and the delivery of ‘Become a Dementia Friend’ workshops.
Who can Join
People living with a diagnosis of dementia, their families, friends and carers. All residents of Logan area who want to build an inclusive dementia-friendly community.
Contact hours
The Logan Dementia Choir meets every Wednesday 11:30 during school terms. You are invited to attend our Community Conversations sessions held once a month on the second Tuesday morning. Email us for further information. Alternatively, you are invited

Our purpose is to enable individuals living with dementia to lead active and fulfilling lives with dignity and respect by building communities in which people living with dementia are understood, accepted & included; and their family members and primary carer’s are seen and heard.
More Info
Our focus is to empower people living with dementia with choice and control over their everyday decisions; understand their full potential and personal rights; and right to be understood, respected, and supported to thrive in their areas of interest. We also support family members and primary carers with navigating the range of government-funded resources and support services, including advocacy, self-care and peer support.
