- Group Description
- Aunties and Uncles Queensland is an early intervention and prevention mentoring program helping vulnerable and disadvantaged children aged 1 - 11 years, within the greater Brisbane and Gold Coast areas. The aunty and/or uncle mentors them child and provides them with stability and support in their own homes two days per month. Families in need are offered a very necessary break from parenting while at the same time their children gain access to an environment where they can be assisted to reach their full potential and develop skills to grow into healthy and happy adults. As a charity, we rely on the generous support of donors and volunteers.
